For the month of October, we are fundraising for CHAMP, a local group mostly led by high school students raising money for people in the community fighting cancer. In addition to this group, we're also supporting our 2024 annual non-profit Huntingdon House. This caring organization provides a warm and safe environment to victims of domestic violence. Some fun facts about me, I am credited with inventing the Quotes for Good community-giving program that has now been adopted by State Farm agents across the country. As an Air Force brat, I moved over 20 times with my parents before settling into our community. I now prefer to travel for pleasure with my husband of over 20 years, our 2 beautiful children, and my Eagle Team. As a passionate entrepreneur, my first business was as a children's book writer while teaching at SHC, Huntingdon, and Penn State University and over 5 years ago my husband and I opened up Jenkies Joint, a gaming laundromat.
